How it works

Therapy that keeps going after the session ends.

InSession Health links a client's mobile app to their therapist's web portal. The therapist sets up the week, the client does the work, and both arrive at the next session with a shared picture of what happened.

Five steps, start to finish.

Your therapist invites you

You receive a secure invitation link or code and decide whether to connect. Access to InSession starts here.

You choose what to share

Pick Private, Progress Only or Detailed Sharing. Connecting never means handing over everything, and you can change it later.

A short daily check-in

A few questions, chosen or written by your therapist, appear in the app. Most take a couple of minutes.

Between-session work

Exercises, reflections and programs, either assigned by your therapist or chosen by you, keep the work moving during the week.

A weekly review

Before the next session your therapist sees only what you have allowed, and uses it to focus the time you have together.

One platform, two views

An app for the week. A portal for the practice.

In the client app

  • Daily check-in with therapist-selected questions
  • A weekly to-do list from your last session
  • Programs for anxiety, sleep, focus and more
  • Mood and progress trends you can see yourself
  • Sharing controls you can change any time
More for individuals

In the therapist portal

  • Invite and remove clients with a link or code
  • Build check-ins from a standard library or your own questions
  • Assign programs, exercises and homework
  • Review trends, completion and shared responses
  • One account across every program your clients use

A week with InSession

What the rhythm looks like.

Session day

Set the week

Therapist and client agree on two or three things to practice. The therapist adds them to the app.

Daily

Check in

A two-minute check-in captures mood, sleep, triggers or whatever the therapist asked about.

Midweek

Practice

Exercises and program modules turn session insights into everyday habits.

Before next session

Review

The therapist scans a short summary of what the client shared, then starts from there.

Questions

Common questions.

Do I need a therapist to use InSession Health?

Yes. InSession is built to support therapy, not replace it, so client access starts with an invitation from a therapist. If your therapist is not on InSession yet, you can request access and we will reach out to them.

Can my therapist read my journal?

No, not unless you choose to share a specific entry. Journal content stays private by default, whatever sharing level you pick.

Is this a crisis service?

No. InSession Health is not monitored in real time and is not for emergencies. If you are in immediate danger call 911, or call or text 988 in the US.

What does it cost?

The therapist portal is free during early access and every client gets the daily check-in at no cost. Premium programs will be optional, and we are testing pricing with clinicians and clients before launch.

Will it make therapy shorter?

That is a hypothesis we want to test, not a claim we make. Our pilots will measure engagement, outcomes and the number of sessions needed to reach agreed goals before we say anything about efficiency.

Ready to try it?

Therapists can join early access today. Clients get started with their therapist's invitation.
